We understand that a large number of our clients are still onboarding and need medicals and screening to continue running their business. The majority of WHA facilities do not provide health care and they are open for pre-employment medicals and have available appointments.

WHA will be implementing a new SMS (text) that will be sent to candidates the day before appointments to remind them to complete the questionnaire and to contact WHA before attending if they have any concerns in relation to COVID-19.


WHA takes our candidates, clients, staff and community’s health and wellbeing seriously.

WHA insists on strict hygiene practices and has stringent cleaning and disinfecting procedures in place. In light of the current environment the following procedures are also being undertaken to provide protection for our candidates, clients and staff.

On arrival to the site, each candidate will be asked: Have you returned from travelling internationally in the last 14 days? Have you been in contact with anyone known to have COVID-19? Do you feel unwell (flu symptoms), have a sore throat, temperature, cough, or headache?

If the candidate answers ‘yes’ to any of these questions, we will re-schedule the appointment for another appropriate time.

We have hand sanitiser at reception, in the candidate waiting area and in the assessment rooms. We ask that candidates use it on arrival and before they leave.

Water is available for candidates, in disposable cups.

Staff are regularly disinfecting all surfaces in the assessment rooms, including assessment equipment, surfaces, assessment beds etc, and the reception counter.
