Speaking about her journey into healthcare, Jade shares, “I was inspired to pursue a career in Allied Health because of my passion for helping others and my interest in health and wellbeing. I’ve always been drawn to making a practical, hands-on difference in people’s lives.” Her typical day as an assessor involves conducting pre-employment medicals, functional capacity assessments, and health surveillance checks. “I enjoy conducting workplace medicals because it allows me to play a proactive role in promoting health, safety and fitness for work,” she says. “It’s rewarding to be part of a process that ensures employees are physically and mentally prepared for their roles.” Outside of work, Jade enjoys strength training at the gym and recommends ‘Suits’ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ as must-watch shows.
