WHA Dandenong has officially been open for three months, and in that time we have been proud to support businesses across Melbourne’s south-east with trusted occupational health services. Situated in the heart of a busy industrial hub, the clinic is designed with fast-moving industries in mind. Whether it’s manufacturing, logistics, construction or transport, WHA Dandenong is here to help local businesses keep their teams safe, compliant and ready for work. The clinic has been purpose-built for speed, precision and reliability. Equipped with the latest assessment technology and a dedicated on-site hearing booth, the clinic allows us to deliver accurate results efficiently, without compromising quality. We’ve also added more than 100 new appointment slots every month, meaning shorter wait times and fewer bottlenecks, ensuring your recruitment process keeps moving without unnecessary delays. We have already received some wonderful feedback from clients on our Google reviews, reflecting the welcoming and supportive environment our team works hard to create. Recent reviews describe the clinic as a ‘welcoming environment’ with ‘very kind and helpful staff’. These comments highlight the compassion, professionalism and care our clients experience from the moment they walk through the door. All of our services are fully up and running, giving local businesses access to a range of occupational health solutions in one convenient location. From pre-employment medicals, fitness-to-drive assessments, workforce health checks, drug and alcohol screening and now offering CAT 3 rail assessments and complex statutory medicals, the clinic is equipped to support employers at every stage of the employment lifecycle. Meet Andre, The Face of WHA Dandenong If you have visited WHA Dandenong, chances are you’ve already met Andre. With more than 22 years’ experience as a registered nurse, Andre brings a wealth of knowledge, confidence and genuine care to every assessment. She joined WHA three months ago, but her passion for occupational health has been building for years. “Having worked in the public health field, I observed the importance of occupational health” Andre says. “Looking after the safety of people at work is something I feel passionate about.” Her days are hands-on, monitoring vital signs, identifying when further testing is needed, and reporting on overall health to help ensure candidates are fit for the demands of their role. What she enjoys most is the opportunity to educate and empower. “I like being able to advise people on what they need to stay healthy and safe at work. Awareness makes a big difference,” she explains. Andre’s career has taken her through a wide range of environments and roles, all focused on caring for the wellbeing of others. That experience shows in her approachable style and ability to put people at ease. When she’s off the clock, Andre enjoys unwinding with a good watch like The Voice or a re-run of the Australian classic Kath & Kim. Proof that even workforce health professionals know the importance of switching off (and that laughter really is the best medicine!).
